Canadian Forces Snowbirds Demonstration Team
The Snowbirds Demonstration Team (431 Squadron) is a Canadian icon comprised of serving members of the Canadian Forces and Reserves. Their pilots and technicians work as a team to bring thrilling performances to the North American public. Serving as Canadian ambassadors, the Snowbirds demonstrate the high level of professionalism, teamwork, excellence, discipline and dedication inherent in the women and men of the Air Force and the Canadian Forces.

Captain Tim ‘DONOR’ Woods -- 2009 F-18 Demonstration Pilot (Century Hornet)
Captain Tim "Donor" Woods had a taste for flying - even in his youth. Receiving his pilot's license with the Air Cadets in 1991, he was employed as a glider pilot instructor and tow pilot with the Central Region Gliding School in Trenton, Ont. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University, Capt. Woods enrolled in the Canadian Forces. (Captain Woods' Biography)

CH-146 Griffon SAR Demo - Search & Rescue (TBC)
The Squadron is charged with flying search and rescue (SAR), medevacs and Cold Lake Air Weapons Range maintenance. Griffon crews provide search and rescue for an area covering the 1.17 million hectares straddling the Alberta/Saskatchewan border that makes up the range.

CP-140 Aurora Flying Demo (TBC)
In order to patrol the world's longest coastline, Canada needs an Aircraft with some very long legs. Meet the Aurora, a long-range patrol Aircraft able to fly over 9,000 km/5,000nm without refueling and Canada's only strategic airborne land and sea surveillance Aircraft. Designed originally for anti-submarine warfare, the Aurora remains capable of detecting the latest generation of stealthy submarines. But its multi-role capability means it's also ready to tackle a variety of different missions.

Sky Hawks Parachute Team
The Canadian Forces parachute demonstration team, The SkyHawks, is comprised of highly professional, skilled, and experienced soldiers from the Regular and Reserve Forces. The team has conducted over 3,400 parachute descents in preparation for their 2006 season, which runs from March until October.

CL-215 Water Bomber Demonstration (Northern Air Operations)
Canadair CL-215, unique amphibious aircraft designed to fight forest fires with water bombing and chemical fire retardants. It can scoop up a load of over 5000 litres of water in 10 seconds while skimming over a body of water, and jettison it over a fire in less than 1 second. It first flew October 1969 and is still in use, although it went out of production in 1989.

B-25 "Miss Mitchell" (from Minnesota) (USAF WWII)
Made famous in 1942 by the famous Doolittle Raid on Tokyo, Miss Mitchell made her maiden flight exactly 50 years later on April 16, 1992 and has been attending airshows and educating adults and youth equally ever since.
