  6. Special tribute was extended to the four slain RCMP Officers
  7. Reminder messages demonstrate the need to "Remember" - yesterday's heroes as well as those who serve today
  8. Line-up to get inside a KC-135 Refueler (from Beale AFB, California)
  9. Podium presenters (Richard & Claire Leger join Minister Guarnieri and other dignitaries)
  10. 7 Man Honour Guard with a 21 Gun Volley during the Act of Remembrance
  11. Boy Scouts represent all Canadian youth by thanking Veterans in front of the crowd; educating youth is a priority
  12. A member from each participating Canadian & United States military crew marches to show center to prepare a salute from today's Armed Forces to Canada's Veterans; this aspect of the Opening Ceremonies demonstrate a strong expression of cross-border, mutual appreciation for the sacrifices of all Veterans and the need to honour them -- no borders exist in this display of respect.
  1. Canadian Armed Forces SkyHawks visit the Sherbrooke Veterans Village
  2. A single RCMP Member joins in the Parade of Veterans to acknowledge the RCMP's respect towards Veterans as well as participate in the Message of Remembrance for the four recently slain RCMP members and all who have died in the line of duty while serving Canada.
  3. Veterans and the public at large experienced Holland's "Thank You Canada" display, showcasing visuals from that country's Liberation 60 years ago; many Veterans remembered being in the towns and areas shown in the visuals.
  4. Current U.S. & Canadian Armed Forces personnel salute the Parade of Veterans as they prepare to march off show-center.
  5. SkyHawks shake hands with all Veterans at Sherbrooke Veterans Village; since many Veterans are no longer able to attend the Air Show Tribute, a part of the show is always brought to them (although weather restricted a Parachute Demonstration and Snowbird Fly-Past).
  6. Large visuals (6 ft. x 8 ft.) ensure the event's educational profile is clearly accessible to all ages via different audio & visual formats positioned throughout the show site. It is "not" just an Air Show.
  7. Visuals highlight various Veterans from the community.
  8. All areas of Saskatchewan and Canada were homes to Regiments, Squadrons and others who served in WWII and Korea; visuals depict several.
  9. Visuals and scripts in all the event's advertising and signage demonstrates the primary message "Canada Remembers".
